Local Backups:

The most common local server backup solution is a NAS (Network Attached Storage) - Synology can implement immutable backups in case your office encounters a cyber attack.  Recovery is usually faster than cloud backup restores, and offers redundancy in case another backup mechanism fails.

Online Backups:

Snapshots and Versioning: Retains up to 30 previous versions of files to protect against ransomware, accidental deletion, fire, theft, or flood.  True Archiving: Files are not deleted from the cloud account even if they are removed from your local computer, unless manually cleared. Security: Uses 256-bit AES encryption.
